U.S. Department of State Invitational Industry Day 10/16/2019
The U.S. Department of State’s Mission is to lead America’s foreign policy through diplomacy, advocacy, and assistance by advancing the interests of the American people, their safety, and economic prosperity. For 2020, the U.S. Department of State has requested a budget of $40 billion.
The purpose of this event is to educate small businesses on how to do business with the Department and introduce program managers and acquisition staff to capable small businesses. These face-to-face meetings can also serve as a valuable tool in researching the market as required by the Federal Acquisition Regulation Parts 10 and 19.
Representatives from the following U.S. Department of State bureaus will be leading roundtable networking sessions: Administration, Consular Affairs, Diplomatic Security, Foreign Service Institute, Information Resource Management, International Narcotics and Law Enforcement, Overseas Buildings Operations and United States Agency for International Development (USAID)
These face-to-face meetings also serve as a valuable tool in assisting the U.S. Department of State professionals to research the market as required by the Federal Acquisition Regulation Parts 10 and 19.

How to Take Part
This event is open to all small businesses, that meet certain criteria. To align the U.S. Department of State needs with capable firms, we are seeking firms that possess:
(a) Clearance Level (Secret, Top Secret, Facility)
(b) Past Performance on government contracts
(c) Industry certifications in Primary NAICS – (e.g., HVAC certification)
