House Small Business Committee Hearing: Growing the Small Business Supplier Base in Government Contracting
The U.S. House of Representatives | Committee on Small Business Subcommittee on Contracting and Infrastructure will held a hearing titled: “Growing the Small Business Supplier Base in Government Contracting” on October 13, 2021. This session focused extensively on the decline in small business suppliers as a result of Category Management.

The American Small Business Chamber of Commerce is proud to be a coalition partner with the U.S. Women’s Chamber of Commerce as we address major issues with the federal program called, “Category Management” — which has blocked thousands of small businesses from accessing federal contracts.
The U.S. Women’s Chamber of Commerce has published a detailed report which provides data which shows the dramatic loss of American small business suppliers. We highly recommend all small business federal suppliers read and distribute this report to your congressional leaders.
