Michelle Picard is a finance professional with more than 22 years in the Transportation Industry. She is currently Director, Business Governance and Risk Management and DBE Liaison Officer for Siemens Mobility’s North American Rolling Stock headquarters in Sacramento, CA. Michelle graduated cum laude from the California State University of Sacramento with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in international business and a Master of Arts in French. As DBE Liaison Officer, Michelle partners with procurement and advocacy groups to help establish relationships with businesses recognized as small or diverse. Michelle leads Diversity, Equity & Inclusion for Siemens Mobility North America. Previously, she held positions including Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance Officer and a variety of commercial project management and business administration roles, serving most recently as Director, Operations Controlling directing the planning, controlling and reporting activities for several functions including manufacturing, engineering, scheduling, quality and logistics.

As the Supplier Diversity Program Manager, Natasha has developed a harmonized program for Siemens USA by promoting small and diverse suppliers within the organization. The use of small and diverse businesses creates innovation and high-quality products and services, while
increasing economic opportunity and growth for all.

Prior to this role, Natasha worked in Procurement and supported the roll-out of technical tools and IT initiatives during her 15 years at Siemens. She has also been a co-chair of an Employee Resource Group and supports Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives within Siemens.

Natasha is a native of Toronto, Canada and has a Bachelor of Technology Degree. She has
also received her Small Business Liaison Officer certification from the Alliance of Supplier
Diversity Professionals.
